| Description/Notes: | Alkek Elementary School is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable EC-6 Teacher for the 2025-26 School Year. Start Date: July 28, 2025 *Actual grade level assignment will be determined based on applicant skill sets and experience. |
| Qualifications: | Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university - Valid Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught - ESL certification - Reading Academies Training (Preferred) Additional Information: - Team planning with colleagues to ensure high quality instruction and assessment - Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels - Provide classroom instruction to whole groups, small groups, and individuals - Demonstrate the effective use of technology to enhance instruction and support student interest and growth - Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways. - Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction - Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff, and provide meaningful feedback - Communicate necessary information and student progress regularly to students, colleagues, and parents - Work cohesively with the campus staff in a self-contained atmosphere - Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom - Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) - Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills - Supervise instructional aide (if applicable) |
| Salary Range: | Commensurate with experience as per the 2025-2026 Bandera ISD Teacher's Pay Scale |
