Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Coordinate and Facilitate campus curriculum and instruction. Ensure that the development and delivery of curriculum and the instructional program is effective and efficient, incorporates district goals and supports student achievement. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Instructional and Program Management Work cooperatively with district and campus leadership and other campus instructional specialists in developing, monitoring, and improving the design and delivery of instructional programs on assigned campus. Work collaboratively with other campus instructional specialists to ensure district-wide vertical alignment of curriculum and instructional practices. Utilize district resources to facilitate the development, implementation, assessment, and revision of all instructional initiatives. Facilitate the development and analysis of student assessment data for the assigned campus. Work collaboratively with campus leadership in the ordering and use of departmental instructional aids and materials for assigned campus. Maintain a resource library of publications, supplementary materials, and supplies relevant to the assigned campus. Staff Development Collaborate with campus leadership to plan and provide staff development for teachers and instructional staff. Observe and model classroom instruction and provide feedback and assistance to classroom teachers to facilitate improvement and innovation. |
Qualifications: | Qualifications: Education/Certification: Master’s degree from accredited university preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation Knowledge of the TEKS Resource System Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Knowledge of Eduphoria/AWARE Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: 3 years teaching experience at appropriate educational level (elementary/secondary) |
Salary Range: | Teacher Salary Schedule plus $12,500 stipend. |
