| Description/Notes: | Comfort High School is seeking a dedicated Senior Marine Instructor (SMI) to lead and manage our Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC) program. The SMI plays a vital role in mentoring cadets, delivering curriculum-based instruction, and promoting leadership, citizenship, and community service in accordance with U.S. Marine Corps and district guidelines. |
| Qualifications: | • Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred). • Must be certified as a Marine Corps JROTC Instructor by the Marine Corps Training and Education Command. • Must meet one of the following Marine Corps service categories: • • Category I – Commissioned Officers with 18 or more years of active duty service. • • Category II – Reserve Officers with 20 years of honorable service. • • Category III – Officers with 8 or more years of active duty service, separated from service for no more than 5 years. • • Category IV – Active Reserve Officers. |
