| Qualifications: | Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university - Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught Additional Information: - Team planning with colleagues to ensure high quality instruction and assessment - Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels - Provide classroom instruction to whole groups, small groups, and individuals - Demonstrate the effective use of technology to enhance instruction and support student interest and growth - Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways. - Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction - Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff, and provide meaningful feedback - Communicate necessary information and student progress regularly to students, colleagues, and parents - Work cohesively with the campus staff in a fast-paced atmosphere - Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom - Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) - Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills |
