| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university Valid Texas bilingual teaching certificate with related training and work experience [One-Way Dual Language training provided by district after hire.] Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject areas assigned Demonstrated ability to instruct in both Spanish & English academically Special Knowledge/Skills: Understand the interrelated components of bilingual teaching/first & second language acquisition Knowledge of core academic subjects assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instructional best practices for online learning Strong knowledge of Internet and web-related technology Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with student, parents, and colleagues in Spanish & English. Ability to support students with computer set-up, navigation, and technology issues Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience |
| Salary Range: | Starting at $50,700 Bilingual stipend $6,000 with Appropriate Certification |
