| Description/Notes: | Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary School Principal to join our team at Edgewood Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our school, ensuring that our educational standards are met and that a safe, positive learning environment is maintained for our students. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all elementary school operations. Develop and implement strategic plans and educational goals in line with the school's mission. Collaborate with teachers to monitor students' progress and ensure the curriculum meets state standards. Foster a positive and respectful learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds. Handle disciplinary matters and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members. Participate in hiring, training, and professional development of school staff. Skills: Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members. Knowledge of current education trends and regulations. Certifications: The ideal candidate must hold a valid Principal's certification and have a proven track record of effective leadership within an elementary school setting. | Qualifications: | SBEC Principal Certification Experience as an administrator is preferred. |
| Salary Range: | Based on Edgewood ISD salary schedule. |
| Benefits: | Additional Information: Contract = 226 days. Health Insurance Contribution by the district = $275. Telemedicine paid by district for each employee. $10,000 life insurance policy paid by district for each employee. |
