Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: The Associate Director, reporting to the Executive Director, will support the enhancement of excellence in LEAs and ESC Region 15. This role involves providing instructional leadership and coordinating the development and delivery of services aimed at improving student achievement across the region. The role involves providing leadership and support to the Executive Director in planning and executing teaching and learning services at the ESC. Key responsibilities include: Grant Development: Seeking, developing, and implementing competitive grants for the ESC, as well as managing state and federal programs, applications, and budgets. Collaborations: Building partnerships with higher education institutions and districts, coordinating the delivery of innovative services, and promoting continuous service improvement. Program Supervision: Overseeing state and federal program implementations, policies, and procedures; managing professional development related to TEKS and STAAR assessments; and ensuring the effective use of data management tools (e.g., Eduphoria, DMAC). Curriculum and Instruction: Leading curriculum development and the integration of technology into instruction, and supervising training to improve student outcomes. Teacher Support: Providing leadership for new teacher support in Region 15 and overseeing various collaborative programs, including the Mathematics and Science Collaborative. Statewide Initiatives: Coordinating statewide educational initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulations through accurate record-keeping and reporting. Budget Management: Supervising program budgets and ensuring fiscal responsibilities are met. Staff Evaluation: Evaluating ESC staff performance and attending professional development events to enhance student achievement. Additional responsibilities include supervising specialized initiatives like the Texas School Ready and Advanced Academics grants and performing other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. |
Qualifications: | Master's Degree Texas Superintendent Certification Valid Texas Teaching Certificate |
Salary Range: | $120,000 - $145,000 |
