Description/Notes: | Direct and manage all district teaching and learning for secondary grade levels. Ensure that the development and delivery of curriculum and instructional programs are effective and efficient. Incorporate the district’s goals and beliefs to support student achievement. |
Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s degree in educational administration or curriculum development Mid-management or Principal certification required Texas Teaching certificate TTESS certification required Special Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional programs and instructional effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to provide leadership and supervision for professional learning Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data, statistics and law Proven leadership skills Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills Experience: Three years experience as a classroom teacher required Three years experience in instructional leadership roles preferred |
Salary Range: | $110,000-$145,000 |
