| Description/Notes: | The role of a secondary College & Career Advisor in Bellville ISD is to nurture the development of our young students' post-secondary aspirations and creating a successful path forward for each individual so that each student in BISD has the means necessary to successfully pursue life outcomes aligned to his/her individual interests and aptitudes. This position is unique in that it is entirely funded by our Bellville ISD Education Foundation. This role only exists with the ongoing financial support of the Bellville ISD Education Foundation. The individual assuming this position is accountable for affecting the desired outcomes of the District and the Foundation. There is a great deal of autonomy in this role balanced with equitable accountability for providing avenues for successful life outcomes for all BISD students. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor’s Degree Required Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Required Three Years of Teaching Experience Preferred Knowledge of College Admissions Processes, Career Certification Requirements, and Military Enlistment Strong Organizational, Communication, and Interpersonal skills |
