Description/Notes: Primary Purpose:
Provide continuous professional development to school principals, assistant principals, and other central office administrators
Facilitate principal conference
Provide professional development for Organizational Skills Training, such as Crucial Conversations
Facilitate a high-functioning professional learning network for school leaders.
Support the activities, events, vision, and mission of Supervision and Leadership Development
Support the activities and objectives that relate to innovative practices for LEAs through training, professional development opportunities

Specific Responsibilities and Duties for the Program Coordinator (See additional duties at https://www.region10.org/o/r10esc/page/txed-job-network-overview)
Provide input to the Director and Assistant Director in all areas of programs, and propose new administrative services
Provide leadership development, materials and dissemination of information related to school administrators through professional development sessions, cohorts, written communication, email, listserv, and telephone.
Assist in program planning
Provide technical assistance to school administrators in the area of administration
Develop and disseminate informational materials to support program outcomes as they relate to leadership development
Answer leadership questions related to school administration
Provide organized program and networking opportunities for administrators
Establish relationships with key administration stakeholders to further R10 offerings within our region
Qualifications: Education/Certifications:
Master's Degree in an education-related field
Texas Administrator Certification

Experience:
Five or more years of classroom teaching, or related experience
Master’s degree or equivalent
Experience as campus and central office administrator
Certified trainer for Texas Evaluation Systems
Experience in providing staff development to educators and or leaders of public, charter, and private schools

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of general administration processes used in public school
Knowledge of state administrative codes and current evaluation systems
Knowledge of current training techniques for adult learners
Understanding of state and federal funds as it relates to all public schools
Salary Range: $85,000 - $106,500 (Salary estimate based on experience and skill set.)
Benefits: Up to 21 holidays, 10 earned personal leave days, 10 vacation days and $500.00/month as an employer contribution to assist with health insurance.
