| Description/Notes: | Position is for 2025-2026 school year. July 1, 2025 start date, with option for earlier start, as needed. Serve as chief administrator for high school campus, grades 9-12, with approximately 45 staff members. Provide positive leadership by investing in the professional growth of self and staff members. Provide a clear vision of continuous improvement. Understanding of current legislation as it pertains to the instructional program. Lead the recruitment, hiring, and placement of assigned staff. Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies. Analyze data to identify critical priorities for campus. Plan for and ensure student supervision and campus safety. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s degree in educational administration; Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate; Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser Additional qualifications include: • Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrate data driven decision-making to ensure the success of instructional programs • Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness • Ability to manage budgets • Ability to coordinate campus functions |
| Salary Range: | Number of Days: 226 days Based on Alpine ISD Salary Schedules, with supplements dependent upon credentials and experience. Salary Range: $68,338.38 - $99,572.69 |
