Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Campus or District Leadership, preferred
Experience leading Federal Programs at a Campus or District level
Experience in working with multiple supervisors, preferred
Valid Texas Teacher’s Certificate
Valid principal certification or equivalent, preferred
Knowledge of effective research: change process, systems thinking,
organizational culture and adult learners
Ability to plan, implement, deliver and sustain professional development for
school and district personnel
Knowledge of federal grant requirements
Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director
Recommended by ESC Executive Director

Process all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a
timely manner
Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
Report for work ready to perform responsibilities
Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC
Uphold and adhere to safety rules and policies of the ESC

Provide PD and TA to districts on the McKinney-Vento Program
Assist LEAs in identifying and serving Homeless students
Ensure Grant Performance Measures are met by the ESC
Maintain the Regional McKinney-Vento website
Provide TA to LEAs, students, and families concerning the McKinney-Vento
Program
Monitor and track data and program components for local, regional and state
reporting purposes
Provide PD and TA to districts for Title I, Part C (Migrant Education) Program
Successfully complete Migrant ID&R training and ID&R Certification Test
Successfully complete TX-NGS training
Review, correct, and sign COEs for Migrant program
Ensure Title I, Part C grant requirements are met
Provide PD and TA for Title IV, Part A requirements
Maintain the Title IV, Part A website
Ensure Title IV, Part A grant requirements are met
Attend required TEA meetings/conferences
Attend trainings approved or assigned by department director to increase
knowledge or improve job performance
Travel to and from LEAs and out-of-region to fulfill program and project
specifications

Up to 226 working days
This is an at-will employment position.
In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be necessary.
