| Qualifications: | PRIMARY PURPOSE Provide leadership, training and technical assistance to local education agencies for all programs and services assigned including TEA Available Materials/HQIM. Assist educational personnel in the Region One ESC area to enhance the performance of students. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Master’s Degree, preferred. Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in area assigned. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in the assigned area. Minimum two (2) years’ experience with Eureka Mathematics, preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of Texas Academic Performance Report, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, English Language Proficiency Standards, College Career Readiness Standards. Knowledge and/or experience with HQIM (Eureka TEKS Edition and Texas Curricular Resources). Knowledge and/or experience with mathematics RBIS. Texas Student Assessment System, and Federal accountability systems. Broad based knowledge of concepts and skills in assigned area. Knowledge of research on effective teaching and methodology. Knowledge of scientifically based teaching/learning practices for diverse learners. Experience in curriculum development and evaluation. Ability to utilize technology for teaching, learning and communication. Ability to function as a member of a team. Effective organizational and presentation skills. Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. | Salary Range: | $69,793.00 - $96,380.00 |
