Qualifications: PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide educator effectiveness and Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) support, training, and technical assistance to local education agencies for all programs and services assigned. Lead efforts to assist the development and implementation of products and services to support the planning and implementation of the Portfolio and TexasSLO process to support expansion of TIA eligible teachers across the state. Support efforts to provide educational personnel in the Region One ESC area and the state to enhance the performance of students and analyze data to inform and guide decision-making to positively influence school improvement efforts and state initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree or higher in education from an accredited institution.
Valid Texas teaching certificate.
Principal/Mid-Management/Supervision certificate, preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in the area assigned.
Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a K-12 campus, district and/or regional leadership experience in an educational setting.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading and supporting the TexasSLO process and/or additional student growth measures.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in working with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management and development of a data management system, preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA).
Knowledge and experience with educator effectiveness and compensation systems.
Knowledge of the TEA/TIA Portfolio process.
Knowledge of state and federal accountability systems.
Ability to utilize available data (STAAR, PEIMS, TAPR, etc.) to make informed programmatic decisions.
Knowledge of research on effective teaching/learning and scientifically based practices for diverse learners.
Knowledge and experience in instructional coaching and mentoring for district, campus, and classroom educators.
Knowledge and experience in data utilization for system planning, campus improvement, classroom adjustments.
Knowledge and experience in utilizing tools, such as Excel, Smartsheet’s, etc. for program management, data visualization, and dashboarding.
Knowledge and experience in data utilization (visualization, organizing, interpreting) for system planning, campus improvement, classroom adjustment.
Knowledge and experience in educator evaluation and student growth measures.
Knowledge and experience in curriculum development and evaluation/assessment using pedagogical skills effectively.
Knowledge of research on effective teaching/learning and scientifically based practices for diverse learners.
Knowledge and experience in utilizing a deep analysis of student work for progress monitoring.
Knowledge and experience in leading and implementing effective professional learning communities campus/district.
Knowledge and experience in research-based instructional practices that support educator effectiveness.
Ability to utilize technology for teaching, learning and communication.
Ability to function as a member of a team.
Effective organizational and presentation skills focused on providing high-quality engaging technical assistance for internal/external stakeholders.
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.

Position is Grant Funded.
Salary Range: $76,074.00 - $105,056.00
