Description/Notes: JOB SUMMARY:  Provide leadership, technical assistance, and staff development for the Instructional Services Component and program area clients related to support for local, state, and federal grant program initiatives, projects, and compliance.    




POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required, major in business administration or management preferred.

Three years of relevant experience required.

Strong knowledge or experience with state and federal grant programs. 

Proficiency with the creation and disbursement of Shared Services Agreements (SSAs) as mandated by grant program guidelines.

Demonstrated competence in handling detailed processes and procedures in an accurate and expedient manner with high attention to detail, and in providing exceptional customer service to a variety of stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong understanding of product development in various platforms, e.g., print, web-based, electronic, etc. 

Strong organizational and editing skills with the ability to meet short deadlines.

Proficiency with standard functions within electronic applications such as MS Office (e.g., word processing, electronic spreadsheets) and e-mail.

Proficiency with computers (PCs and/or MACs) to include desktop management, file management and operations, and working in a network environment.

Exceptions to these requirements will be considered based on exemplary skills, training, and record of success.




PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES:

Provide multifaceted support and training for state and federal programs within the Instructional Services Component.

Assist in coordinating, tracking, and supporting Instructional Services professional development services and products.

Serve as a liaison between program area contacts and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to ensure that program products and services are in alignment with Texas Education Agency (TEA) initiatives and state and federal grant program guidelines.

Ensure and keep current on all grant statutory and regulatory requirements for program area assignments.

Ensure that SSAs are current per grant guidelines for program area assignments. 

Provide information regarding current or new state and federal grant program guidelines.

Collaborate closely with program area contacts to monitor active grant programs, identify and address potential areas of noncompliance, and ensure support services adhere to established state and federal program guidelines.

Provide technical assistance to program area clients. 

Establish and maintain internal protocols for documenting the status of all projects, including details and timelines, within and across workgroups.

Collaborate with other staff to ensure quality completion of all products/projects.

Build relationships with partners to promote development projects. 

Assist staff in developing projects in areas needing development/expansion.

Consult with Center staff to align design with project goals.

Work cooperatively with program area contacts in completing and maintaining required documentation and generate program reports as needed.

Work in collaborative instructional and technical teams to undertake multiple tasks concurrently.

Provide project content and modules ready for projected online, interactive learning environments or print format products.
Qualifications:
Salary Range: $5,425 - $6,102 Monthly
