| Description/Notes: | Responsibilities Implement engaging curriculum and instructional materials. Teach a variety of Agriculture Science courses based on your strengths and expertise, which may include but are not limited to: Animal Science Plant Science Agribusiness Agricultural Mechanics Provide hands-on learning experiences, including laboratory and fi eldwork, to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop practical skills. Mentor and advise students participating in agricultural extracurricular activities, such as Future Farmers of America (FFA) programs and competitions. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor's degree from an accredited University. Valid Texas teaching certi fi cate or eligibility for certi fi cation through an alternative route program CDL or be willing to obtain. Experience working in agricultural education or related fi elds, preferably in a secondary school setting. Strong knowledge of agricultural principles, practices, and industry trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, colleagues, and community stakeholders. |
