| Campus Description: | 3A District 45 minutes to Dallas or Fort Worth area, hour from Waco Rural community, with beautiful homes Close to Waxahachie and Midlothian, TX We offer a Panther Academy that allows students to get an Associates Degree and a program that support CTE related job fields and certifications. In 2023, a bond was passed to replace a large portion of the existing building. This new portion of the campus will be build behind the existing school and will establish a new front entrance. This building is slated to open in August of 2025 along with renovations to the existing cafeteria (New CTE wing with Culinary, Floral, and more classes will be added). The district is expected to grow moderately over time with a student population of approximately 375 now. The district has a state of the art welding program due to a recent JET grant. We have had students compete at the State level in athletics. We are continue to improve performance in academics, band, and other extracurricular areas with competitions. The community is looking for a strong leader that will build strong relationship with the students and teaching staff. Someone that is an excellent communicator, and will work with the district administrative team made up of all school leaders on the Mission, Vision, and Goals of the district. | Description/Notes: | See information above concerning the district. Maypearl ISD has a 1:1 technology program from Kindergarten to 12th. We have an ISD Police Department with 4 staff members. We are a district with a strong fund balance, and excellent students and staff for someone to come and build something very special here. This district experienced high turnover, but is steadily working to reduce that and we are starting to see that take place. More and more educators from Ellis County are coming here to build here and stay.
