Description/Notes: JOB SUMMARY: Provide regional leadership development opportunities for clients, facilitate campus and district planning, and support district and campus leaders through a variety of technical assistance and professional development services. Lead and support instructional leadership with LEAs through ongoing coaching, training, technical assistance, and facilitation of district/campus planning.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Master’s degree required from accredited university.
Valid Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification required.
Three years of relevant experience in Educational Administration or as a site administrator preferred.
Knowledge and experience in leadership development.
Ability to develop others through coaching, modeling, and providing feedback on performance.
In-depth knowledge of data-driven practices, observation and feedback coaching, school culture, and change management.
Knowledge and experience in facilitating campus and district decision-making and planning.
Demonstrated facilitation skills in large and small group settings.
Demonstrated skill in a variety of staff development techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the integration of technology into leadership development programs.
Demonstrate effective job-related skills that model effective integration of technology.
Demonstrate competence with assisting others to appropriately integrate technology into the curriculum.
Knowledge or experience in working in special education and bilingual or ESL programs preferred.
Proficiency with standard functions within electronic applications such as MS Office (e.g. word processing, electronic spreadsheets) and e-mail.
Proficiency with computers (PC’s and/or MACs) to include desktop management, file management and operations, and working in a network environment.
Exceptions to these requirements will be considered based on exemplary skills, training, and record of success.

PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES
Provide a variety of leadership training options to meet the needs of aspiring leaders, novice leaders, and veteran leaders.
Plan for and provide a variety of developmental programs in each of the Proficiencies for the
Principal, including Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) and the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).
Facilitate district- and campus-based groups to move through content in a way that builds capacity in making effective decisions regarding planning, budgeting, curriculum, staffing patterns, staff development and school organization.
Partner with traditional public and non-public schools and charter schools to develop leadership training for administrators.
Plan for and provide technical assistance in setting measurable district and campus performance objectives for all appropriate academic excellence indicators.
Provide technical assistance and training to schools and districts in various stages of state and federal school improvement.
Provide technical assistance to clients, as appropriate.
Assist component and division in providing services to clients in the region.
Qualifications:
Salary Range: $6,327 - $7,118 Monthly
