| Description/Notes: | Albany ISD is seeking an experienced Elementary School Principal for a Pre-K through Sixth Grade campus of 270 students. Primary Purpose Direct and manage instructional programs and supervise operations and personnel at the campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities. Education / Certification Special Knowledge / Skills Experience / Other Requirements Major Responsibilities And Duties Master’s degree. Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate. Certified T-TESS appraiser. Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness. Ability to manage budget and personnel. Ability to coordinate campus functions. Ability to implement policy and procedures. Ability to interpret data. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Three years of experience as a classroom teacher. Three years of experience in instructional leadership roles. CDL preferred |

| Salary Range: | $70,000 - $85,000 |
