Job Title: Teacher / Campus Content Specialist Reports to: Campus Principal Employment Type: Exempt Pay Grade: Teacher Matrix Days: 201 Primary Purpose: Campus Content Specialists provide support for teachers and students using content area expertise and instructional skills. The Campus Content Specialist will also teach designated sections in the content subject area. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: ● Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university ● Valid Texas teaching certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: ● Demonstrated ability as an instructional leader with both adults and students ● Knowledge of standards-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment. ● Ability to work effectively as part of a team and solve problems collaboratively ● Ability to act as an instructional liaison between district administration and campus needs in organizing, providing and delivering staff development and teacher training to adult learners. ● Demonstrated capacity to be self-directed, organized and collaborative with all staff members. ● Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills. ● Demonstrated ability in the research, development and delivery of innovative technologies and learning practices. Experience: ● Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching in core subject area ● Teacher leadership experience, preferred General Employee Requirements: ● Regular attendance and punctuality ● Support and align work with the mission, vision, and beliefs of the district ● Follow and support board policies in areas of related responsibility ● Ensure district resources are managed effectively to maximize resources for student learning ● Share in the development and implementation of district success plans. |
