| Description/Notes: | Port Aransas ISD is seeking a Director of Business and Finance Assistant to join our Port Aransas Marlin team beginning in early spring 2024. This year-round salaried position works 225 days per year. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or other related field (preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of budgeting, accounting systems, and payroll processing Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and perform data analysis Ability to implement policies and procedures Ability to interpret data Ability to manage budget and personnel Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, the school board or other organizations Experience: 2 years of accounting or business management experience |
| Salary Range: | Depending on experience and expertise, this position pays from $82,000-$98,000. |
