| Description/Notes: | Installing, terminating, dressing, and label low-voltage cabling Install, test, analyze, repair, and decommission audio, video, access control, security, data, and other associated systems Use testing equipment and electrical theory to verify circuit functionality and to ensure proper wiring and operation Create and maintain records related to support tickets, testing/inspecting, and other system design/operations Design, configuration, and build out cable support systems Research, evaluate, and recommend replacement or upgrades of existing systems Additional duties per Director of Technology |
| Qualifications: | Proficient in low-voltage cabling and termination Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC standards desired Experience with man lifts and ladders Proficient computer skills Ability to document processes, configurations, and designs of systems and wiring in detail Working knowledge of tools used in the low voltage industry including power tools Valid Texas driver's license Basic understanding of Ethernet based network systems Self-starter, good work ethic, highly motivated, quick learner EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience installing related systems in a commercial environment preferred |
| Salary Range: | $17.41 – $25.07 an hour depending on experience and qualifications |
