| Description/Notes: | Job Summary Provide support for the University Academy in Longview with students and teachers in the classroom. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks Assist with direct instructi on of students (individually or in small groups) under supervision of teacher. Assist in student management (in/out of classroom). Assist with preparing instructional material and classroom for daily lessons. Assist with other campus activities/duties as needed; breakfast/lunch duty, pick-up duty, etc. |
| Qualifications: | Required Education/Experience High school graduation or equivalent, and 2 year relevant experience. College hours preferred. Educational Aide certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Strong organizati onal, communicati on and interpersonal skills. General subject content knowledge. General knowledge of curriculum and instructi on. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Experience working with special needs students. |
| Salary Range: | Dependent on start date, the monthly salary will be prorated according to the number of school days remaining at $120/day. |
