| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Responsible for the overall management of the district’s curriculum and instruction function. Direct and manage the district’s curriculum and instruction department. Ensure that the development and delivery of curriculum and the instructional program is effective and efficient, incorporates district goals, and supports student achievement. |
| Qualifications: | Qualifications: Education/Certification: Master’s degree in education administration Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: Three years experience as a classroom teacher Two years experience in instructional leadership roles Principal Experience Preferred, but not required |
| Salary Range: | Min. of $80,000 |
| Benefits: | At this time, the district pays $335 toward employees' medical insurance and 100% of employees' dental high plan. District provides $10,000 life insurance. Currently have students on 4 to 4.5 schedule, with employees able to get PD or required meetings held on the Fridays. |
