| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: To actively promote and drive inspiring, innovative, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) focused projects throughout the ECISD community. Lead the implementation and fulfillment of the ECISD Inspiration Station and other future innovative projects. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: · Bachelor’s degree or higher · Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License Experience: · Three (3) or more years of experience in education leadership and/or community outreach · Prior Education Foundation experience preferred Special Knowledge Skills: · Strong understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) curriculum, instruction, and innovations. · Ability to develop and implement special projects (i.e. STEAM, Inspiration Station, etc.) in a timely manner to benefit all stakeholders and in directed timelines. · Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills (listening, verbal and written), time- management skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task · Ability to work well with a diverse population · Skill in developing computer generated documents, graphics and databases. · Self-motivated with the ability to perform job duties under little supervision · In-depth knowledge of Texas public education systems, and in particular Ector County ISD · Proficient use of personal computer with excellent software skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, file maintenance, and databases. · Budget development and fiscal management skills · Experience in employee supervision and appraisal · Outstanding customer service skills. · Bilingual (verbal and written) preferred |
