Description/Notes: | Coordinate the collection, auditing, and reporting of district Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Essential Job Functions: *Coordinate the collection, integration, and formatting of all data required for PEIMS submission according to PEIMS Data Standards. *Develop deadlines and work cooperatively with campus, Business, and Human Resources office staff to collect, organize, and format data required to submit district PEIMS data in a timely manner. *Develop, manage, and present professional development curriculum for student and business PEIMS data standards and procedures. Provide training and support to campus/central office staff responsible for processing PEIMS data. *Assist special population programs to assure the maximization of school funds generated via PEIMS. *Coordinate auditing of District PEIMS data against campus records and generate reports on findings. *Run edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information. *Distribute edits and reports to appropriate staff for analysis, verification, and correction. *Submit complete and accurate PEIMS data in Texas Education Agency (TEA)-prescribed format to education service center (ESC) for processing using computer terminal or personal computer. *Verify data submitted to TEA and submit corrections in a timely manner. *Receive PEIMS-related information from ESC and TEA and disseminate to other staff in a timely manner, including updates to PEIMS Data Standards. *Attend all regional PEIMS workshops and disseminate information to appropriate staff. *Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. *Compile, maintain, and file physical and computerized reports, records, and documents required. *Dependable performance requires reliable and dependable attendance. *Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other administrator that are consistent with the general requirements and qualifications for the position. Qualifications: | Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years related experience Special Knowledge/Skills: · Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records · Ability to meet established deadlines · Skyward experience preferred · Ability to use computer/software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and productivity tools · Ability to develop and maintain technical and training documentation · Ability to meet established deadlines · Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills · Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Four years direct experience in school district administrative support position, requiring collecting and entering data; experience using coding systems |
Salary Range: | $63,994.16 - 90,657.64 / 226 Days / Per Year |
