| Qualifications: | The Superintendent of RISD, the Chief Executive Officer, is the valued leader and face of our district to students, parents, staff, and community. Below are qualifications and characteristics that the RISD Board of Trustees is seeking from potential applicants: * Demonstrate visionary leadership qualities that have produced exemplary results in Texas Public Schools * Experience with fast-growth school districts * Demonstrate in-depth understanding of school finance * Demonstrate appropriate understanding of curriculum and instruction * Demonstrate the ability to be actively involved in the community * Hold a Master's degree from an accredited university * Possess a valid Superintendent certification from the State of Texas * Exhibit Administrative experience in Texas Public Schools (required) |
