| Description/Notes: | Loraine ISD is an EC-12 school with approximately 140 students and 38 total staff members. Great students and staff!! Beautiful Campus!! Loraine is located an hour west of Abilene on I-20, about 75 minutes north of San Angelo, and 30 minutes south of Snyder. Our adopted calendar for next year is a 4 day/5 day calender (every other Friday off). We are seeking a Principal with a "kids-first" mentality and tech-savvy approach to student and staff engagement and instruction. The right fit for our district will be a professional who is willing to be a positive, team-player who embraces an instructional environment centered on intentional professional growth. |
| Qualifications: | EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION: Masters degree from accredited university Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS: Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years as Campus Assistant Principal or Campus Principal experience preferred |
