| Description/Notes: |
The purpose of the position is to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to the district. Duties include but are not limited to: weekly, direct classroom social skills lessons (curriculum provided); direct counseling sessions (1:1 and small groups); social skills training for students; implement crisis plan; provide behavioral support to staff (create behavior plans and support, track and monitor behavior plans). |
| Qualifications: |
Master's degree in psychology from accredited college or university. Valid Texas license as a licensed specialist in school psychology granted by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Counselor: Valid Texas Counselor Certification; Valid Texas Teacher Certification; Experience: Three years teaching experience; Two years elementary school counselor experience, preferred. |
