| Description/Notes: | Job Duties & Responsibilities 1. Demonstrate skills in area of assessment and management of eligibility folders A. Select appropriate assessment instruments for each student B. Administer test and write comprehensive reports which accurately reflects factual data C. Maintain eligibility folders in an accurate, complete, and current manner D. Ensure that all eligibility folders are in the central files and accessible to other appropriate personnel who need information from the folders 2. Demonstrate efficient, organized, knowledgeable skills in ARD committee meetings A. Have appropriate forms at the meeting B. Have necessary reports available C. Present information so that it facilitates the decision making process D. Interpret assessment data so that it is easily understood E. Assist ARD committee members in understanding their legal rights and responsibilities Other Information: Denton County Special Education Cooperative serves five districts in Denton County: Aubrey, Krum, Pilot Point, Ponder, and Sanger.
