| Description/Notes: | Benjamin ISD is a small, rural school with about 140 students PK-12. We are located 80 miles north of Abilene and 80 miles west of Wichita Falls. We enjoy small class sizes and operate on a 4 day school week. Great staff and students with very small classes in an agricultural community. This is a 12 month position with low rent housing and utilities paid. The Agriculture program was just restarted the prior school year and we have a great facility with new ag truck, new stock trailer, new tractor, new CNC plasma cutter and many other brand new tools. Benjamin ISD is accepting applications for an Agriculture Science teacher and FFA adivsor. Benjamin has a brand new ag classroom, all new welding and metal fabrication equipment, new tools, a new ag truck, stock trailer, and tractor with multiple implements. School housing may be available. Low rent, utilites paid, 4 bedroom house. School has plans to develop an ag farm in the near future. Benjamin ISD pays the employee's TRS Level 1 insurance for the current school year. We also pay for a $10,000 life insurance policy for each employee. Employees get 5 state and 5 local days as well as 3 bereavement days. Please complete the online application. | Benefits: | Benjamin ISD pays the Level 1 insurance from TRS. $10,000 life insurance policy paid by the district. 12 month contract with low rent housing and utilities paid. We pay $1,500 over base with stipends for other duties. We also have a $1,000 retention stipend paid at the end of November. |
