Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills: Team oriented attitude and desire to work collaboratively with ESC staff campus/district/charter school personnel. Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing. Proficiency in keyboarding, spelling, and punctuation. Experience in creating correspondence, reports, brochures, graphics, and spreadsheets with computer software. Ability to manage staff schedules, prioritize tasks and manage assigned internal systems. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills. Ability to retain information quickly, keen attention to details, and strong documentation skills. Knowledge of basic computer operations Exceptional written and communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge and ability to implement effective onboarding strategies and support for new employees Knowledge and ability to implement effective work place culture enhancement strategies Experience: Minimum of five years of successful secretarial and/or administrative experience Operational Experience in Excel Spreadsheets required Proficient ability with Google Workspace (Google slides, drive, docs, sheets, etc.), preferred Experience with Skyward Budget Processing for purchase orders and travel, preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administrative: Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff; handle questions and requests that fall within level of responsibility. Use proper grammar when communicating in oral and written formats. Receive visitors with courtesy and professionalism. Problem-solve independently with associate and deputy director's approval. Provide assistance to associate and deputy directors as needed. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents as required. Perform routine bookkeeping tasks. General support to all Instructional Service Director Assistants Provide back-up and support to the Executive Director's Assistant Maintain Calendaring for the Deputy Executive Director including real-time adjustments Ability to strategize and plan large meetings and projects, some of which may be last minute or with restrictive time constraints Maintain the Instructional Leader's Canvas site and Ontrac site Coordinate schedules, agendas, weekly reports, and meetings for the IS Directors' Group Coordinate with the Instructional Service's Leadership Team to provide positive culture enhancements to the division General: Actively participate in and/or provide leadership for inter-departmental teams to help improve student performance in the region, to improve the ESC's internal operations, and to meet the established goals and objectives for the ESC. Must maintain a good attitude and interact at a professional level while working cooperatively with other members of the staff to accomplish the goals and objectives of the department and the service center. Is responsive as first point of contact to all stakeholders in the education community. Provide support for local, state, and federal programs supervised by leadership. Must maintain confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Duties None. |
Salary Range: | $46,664 minimum - $56,898 midpoint |
