| Description/Notes: | Coordinate the strategic planning and implementation of instruction, accountability, and state & federal programs. Ensure that the development and delivery of curriculum and instructional programs are effective and efficient, incorporate district goals, and support student achievement. Coordinate major special program areas related to state & federal programs to ensure compliance with all state and federal mandates. Oversee and coordinate assessment, accountability, and testing services for the district; Implement state and federally mandated student assessment programs and analyze and interpret results to identify student performance trends. |
| Qualifications: | Required: Bachelors Degree and Texas Teacher Certification Required: Masters Degree in Education Administration or Curriculum & Instruction Preferred: Superintendent Certification Experience: Required: Three years experience as a classroom teacher Required: Five years experience in instructional leadership roles |
