| Description/Notes: | The role of the LSSP in Bellville ISD is to perform professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, and counseling services for students with emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders and related areas. The LSSP will assess the psychological and psycho-educational needs of students referred to special education services. The LSSP will write reports, provide diagnostic information, effective recommendations, and work collaboratively with all staff to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.Additionally, in BISD, all stakeholders are considered learners and are expected to continue to learn, grow, and positively contribute to the world around them. |
| Qualifications: | Masters Degree in psychology from accredited college or university Valid LSSP license issued by the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists 2 Years Experience as LSSP in public schools (Preferred) |
