Description/Notes: PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Chief of Staff serves as a member of the Superintendents Senior Staff. This position plays an important role in student achievement by providing principals with the guidance and feedback they need to be balanced and an effective leader. The purpose is to give principals an objective, standards-based evaluation they can use to guide their own professional growth and development by communicating the standards of T-PESS. This position is responsible for creating strong school leaders who engage in focusing the work of the school. Leading change, and developing purposeful community within the school and beyond. The Chief of Staff supports the Superintendent by coordinating the development of principal evaluations and by preparing/contributing reports, briefings, presentations and other communications for the Superintendent. In addition, another key area will be the development of the Teacher Incentive Allotment plan for the district.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certification Requirements
Master's degree
SBEC Principal Certification preferred
Superintendent Certification preferred
Valid Texas Drivers License

T-PESS and T-TESS certification.

Experience
Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience

Salary Range: Min - $106,348.00
