Responsible for supervising the functions of the business office, including payroll, accounts payable, accounting, and fixed assets. Maintain a set of books adequate to detail all transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Texas Education Agencys (TEA) Financial Accountability Systems Resource Guide (FASRG), Teachers Retirement System (TRS) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Continually review and establish procedures adequate to safeguard District resources. |
| Qualifications: |
Bachelors degree with five years progressive experience in accounting and finance-related matters, including three years of supervisory experience. Possess the qualifications and certifications required by the state and district. Demonstrates the ability to organize and manage the financial operations of the District. |
