| Description/Notes: | DESCRIPTION: SAILS is designed for students K-12 who have significant cognitive, adaptive behavior, social, communication, behavior intervention, and curriculum access needs. Students require highly structured learning environments and intensive specialized instruction within a special education self-contained setting with continued access to inclusive opportunities. Students requiring SAILS often have a greater need for instruction designed to address significant social/communication and behavior needs. Students access the curriculum through modifications or pre-requisite skills. |
