| Qualifications: | Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate: * Demonstrate successful educational leadership and administrative experience in Texas public schools * Demonstrate visionary leadership qualities that have produced exemplary results in education * Hold a Master's degree from an accredited university and possess a valid Texas Superintendent Certification * Previous Administrator experience preferred * Knowledge of school curriculum * Good communication skills with the ability to listen to others and foster a climate of mutual trust and respect * Experience in sound management practices * Open and approachable * Ethical, with a clear vision for the future * Actively involved in the community * A progressive thinker, willing to integrate new ideas and technological concepts into the district * Must live in the District |
