| Description/Notes: | The Chief of Schools provides leadership, decision making, stategic focus and guidance to school offices and academic and school support departments. Directs and manages the assistant superintendents of schools who oversee the implementation of all educational programs, support services, and business and compliance functions for the elementary, middle and high schools in the district. The Chief of Schools must act with integrity, support organizational goals, demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow and motivate others and commit to championing the needs of the students, employees and overall District. The Chief of Schools reports directly to the Superintendent. |
| Qualifications: | Required: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in education, human resources, or related field 10 years education experience with five years in a leadership/supervisory role Preferred: 10 years education experience working on the campus in a leadership role |
