| Description/Notes: |
The ESL Interventionist is responsible for providing direct instructional support for ELLs based on identified linguistic and academic needs. Instruction will be provided in one on one or small group settings to target learning gains and assist students in making academic progress to scaffold the learning. The ESL interventionist should be able to demonstrate knowledge of current research-based instructional practices and strategies for ESL Instruction. This position is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance. |
