|School District/Employer:||Crane ISD|
|Campus Description:||Crane is a diverse community of about 4,000 people, located 30 miles south of the Odessa-Midland metropolitan area in West Texas. An oil boomtown since the 1920s, most of the residents earn their living in the oil industry. Crane County and the City of Crane were named for William Carey Crane, founder of Baylor University. The community has a modern hospital, nursing home, a community swimming pool, a county museum, numerous parks and churches and a public library. In addition, there are several restaurants and local shopping. Crane offers the security of a small town with friendly people, and the attractions of a metropolitan area only minutes away. A mixture of modern and traditional, Crane keeps the historical aspect but plans for updates suited to the needs of the community.
Kids are a #1 priority in Crane, Texas. The community activities revolve around the school system. Each campus is fully staffed with reliable, caring teachers and administrators. Crane provides a well-rounded program for its students, ranging from academics to athletics to the arts.
