Richland Springs ISD is served by a school board of seven selfless, hard-working individuals who always base their decisions on what is best for the students and staff on campus. We offer an innovative four-day week. Faculty and staff work hand in hand to teach students to be problem solvers who graduate with the skills needed to be productive citizens. Administrators and staff continually echo the mantra that we have the best kids in the state, and we do! Students work hard to reach their goals, whether in the classroom, in sports, in the show ring, UIL academics, or one-act play-there is a drive and work ethic for success that transcends all areas of campus.

The mission of Richland Springs ISD is to provide a learning environment where individual students are given the opportunity to realize their full potential. The staff is committed to the belief that all students can learn and succeed. This belief is strengthened when we vary teaching strategies, determine learning styles, and require a high level of performance. We believe that, given such an environment, an ambitious education program will promote student development of the intellectual, physical, and social skills which will enable each student to become responsible members of society.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
o Texas superintendent certified
o Superintendent experience preferred
o Experience working in Texas schools
o Central Office and/or Principal experience preferred
o Preferred to live in the district
