Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to ensure the District is providing quality educational opportunities for students in these programs. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Bachelors degree Valid Texas teaching certificate - Bilingual Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Knowledge of strategies and materials for the education of bilingual and ESL students Ability to interpret data and recommend and implement change based on that data Ability to communicate effectively with bilingual parents and students Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skill Successful experience in creating an effective learning environment for English learners Specialized knowledge and skill in the identification, testing, teaching and progress monitoring of English learners Experience: Five (5) years of successful teaching experience in a bilingual classroom |
