Prepare grant proposals and assist administrators in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating grant-funded programs, including responsibilities related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) for both the TIA and Innovations Grant Coordinator positions.

Job Summary:
Responsibilities and Duties:

Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program in alignment with state requirements.

Collaborate with administrators to design and refine teacher designation systems, including performance and student growth measures.

Ensure compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, including data submission, validation, and reporting.

Manage the collection, analysis, and verification of teacher performance data for TIA designations.

Provide training and support to administrators and teachers on TIA processes and expectations.

Monitor implementation fidelity and recommend improvements to strengthen program effectiveness.

Coordinate TIA applications, submissions, and required documentation for approval and audits.

Analyze program outcomes and collaborate with finance/HR to support accurate incentive distribution.

Grant Preparation

Research and identify grant opportunities and other funding sources and prepare grant applications and other associated materials according to required format.

Meet deadlines for preparation and submission of grant applications and grant-related reports as necessary to comply with grant requirements.

Technical Support

Review guidelines for eligibility requirements, disseminate information, and explain grant restrictions, regulations, priorities, and deadlines to administrators and staff.

Provide technical assistance and train staff to draft project proposals and reports, including the writing and development of program goals and objectives, budget, and interpretation of specifications for grant funding.

Policy, Report, and Law

Maintain master files on grants, including a database to track and report all grant activities within the district. Compile, maintain and file all reports, records and other documents as required.

Monitor grant-funded programs and associated expenditures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.

Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications: Qualifications Profile:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university

Experience:
Five years of professional experience

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of trends, processes, and ethics in grant writing

Demonstrated skills in writing and editing

Ability to analyze complex information and synthesize into readable and persuasive written material

Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing

Ability to meet established deadlines

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
