We are a 5A district with 5 elementaries, 1 intermediate school, 1 middle school, 1 high school and 1 alternative high school.<br /> <br /> We offer students a progressive, comprehensive academic and extracurricular experience including a well-developed CTE program and Early College High School (in partnership with Austin Community College). | Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. Master’s degree from accredited university in special education, curriculum & instruction, content area, or related field preferred. Valid Texas teaching certificate in special education Minimum of 5 years in classroom teaching experience with a minimum of 3 in special education Secondary Experience Preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subjects General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Knowledge of PLAAFP and Goal Writing Knowledge of the ARD process Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Knowledge of TEKS Resource System |
| Salary Range: | $63,041.00-$90,717.00 Annually (Dependent on relevant work experience) 217 duty days |
