Description/Notes: San Saba High School is seeking a student-centered, relationship-driven Guidance Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and college/career readiness needs of all students. This position plays a vital role in fostering a positive school culture, promoting student success, and supporting the mission of developing well-rounded graduates prepared for life beyond high school.
Qualifications: Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field
• Valid Texas School Counselor Certification
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to building relationships and supporting all students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in building and managing master schedules that intentionally support student pathways, including alignment with Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators.
• Knowledge of Texas graduation requirements, CCMR indicators, and EOC testing
• Experience supporting CTE pathways and college readiness initiatives
Salary Range:
