We are a 5A district with 5 elementaries, 1 intermediate school, 1 middle school, 1 high school and 1 alternative high school.<br /> <br /> We offer students a progressive, comprehensive academic and extracurricular experience including a well-developed CTE program and Early College High School (in partnership with Austin Community College). All classrooms and facilities in Elgin ISD include outstanding technology providing a 21st Century Learning environment and we are in our 5th year of our 1:1 Initiative equipping students in middle and high schools with personal devices and Google Classroom.<br /> <br /> Elgin ISD embraces the One Town, One Team, One Family philosophy. | Qualifications: | Qualifications: Education/Certification: ● Master’s Degree in educational administration or related field ● Texas Mid-Management, principal, or related certification preferred Special Knowledge and Skills: ● Working knowledge of curriculum instruction, and assessment ● Ability to evaluate instructional programs, practices, and resources for effectiveness ● Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills ● Ability to coordinate district function Experience: ● Three years’ experience as a classroom teacher ● Two years in instructional leadership roles ● Campus leadership experience preferred |
| Salary Range: | $90,533-$130,278 Annually (based on relevant experience) |
