Lawton is a unique, close-knit district in the heart of southwest Oklahoma with a diverse student and staff community. The district partners with Cameron University and invests in meaningful professional development. With strong ties to Fort Sill—including a school on the installation—LPS embraces service, collaboration and continuous improvement.<br />

The district serves more than 13,250 students with the assistance of 2,200 certified and support professionals. District leaders, staff and other stakeholders have developed a comprehensive strategic plan focused on student achievement, culture and climate, and organizational excellence.<br />
