About the Role: We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our Technology and Information Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining, supporting, and advancing the district’s network infrastructure, ensuring our systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. You’ll work across a broad range of systems, including LAN/WAN, Internet, video surveillance, content filtering, and other safety and security technologies. This is a highly collaborative position that requires both technical expertise and proactive problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the physical and logical structure of all network systems (LAN/WAN, internet, telecom, etc.). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance. Coordinate and implement network designs, installations, and upgrades. Support capacity planning, security protocols, and performance tuning. Evaluate and recommend improvements for current network policies, procedures, and technologies. Assist with cross-departmental technology needs and collaborate with campus and district staff. Stay current with emerging network technologies and best practices. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local policy and regulations. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Must meet the District vehicle liability policy requirements and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license. Experience with ContentKeeper a Plus: We value hands-on experience with ContentKeeper as part of our commitment to safe and secure digital learning environments. |
