Runge Independent School District, a proud rural district in South Texas, is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the Principal of Runge Elementary School (Grades PK–5). We are seeking a visionary instructional leader who is passionate about early childhood and elementary education, deeply committed to inclusive practices, and skilled at fostering a campus culture that supports the growth and well-being of both students and staff.<br />

Key Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
Lead the campus with a clear focus on student achievement, whole-child development, and a positive school climate.<br />
<br />
Foster a collaborative, high-performing instructional team with an emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and data-driven decision-making.<br />
<br />
Promote family and community engagement to support student learning and school improvement goals.<br />
<br />
Ensure compliance with district policies, state and federal accountability standards, and the Texas Education Code.<br />
<br />
Preferred Qualifications:<br />
<br />
* Texas principal certification<br />
* Minimum of 3 years of campus or district-level leadership experience<br />
* Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes<br />
* Strong knowledge of early literacy, RTI, and trauma-informed practices<br />
* Experience leading PLCs and implementing research-based instructional practices<br />
